    The secrets of Champagne Henry de Vaugency are passing from father to son since 1732. 

     

    Pascal Henry represents the 8th generation of winegrowers passionate by their special “terroir” of Oger and the famous chardonnay grape which makes its reputation. 

     

    The champagne elaboration follows the traditional methods: wooden press, ageing in the chalk cellars and manual riddling on “pupitres”. All the champagnes of the house are BLANC DE BLANCS champagnes (chardonnay only) and GRAND CRU champagnes (from Oger village, one of the most qualitative “terroirs” of the region).

    Pascal vous propose de découvrir une visite personnalisée 

    de son exploitation. Celle-ci comprend :

     

    L'historique de l'appellation champagne à travers une collection d'anciennes étiquettes de champagne.

     

    Présentation de vieux outils de la vigne et du vin.

     

    Présentation du dégorgement dit « à la volée »

     (sans congélation du col de la bouteille).

     

    Visite de notre pressoir Coquard traditionnel en chêne.

     

    Visite de la cuverie.

      

    Pascal suggests you discovering a visit personalized by his exploitation.

    This one includes:

     

    The history of the naming champagne through a collection 

    of old labels of champagne.

     

    Presentation of  “Old tools Gallery”, a collection of old objects used to work in the vineyard and to make the champagne.

     

    Presentation of the disgorging by hand 

    (without freezing of the bottle).

     

    Visit of our press traditional “Coquard”.

    Visit of the winery.

     

     Visits of ours typical chalky cellars from the 18th Century 

    and tastings of our champagnes.

      MUSEUM

    Come to discover our Wedding Museum

     

    a large collection made of more than 600 objects from the 19th Century.

    You can see wedding globes, dresses, jewels, presents...

     

    Then the tour continues with the « Label Room », presenting you old labels of champagne bottles. Finally you'll enter the cellar, where we propose you a tasting of our champagne...

    Tour in the « Wedding Museum » and the « Label Room », tasting included : 10€ per person.

     

    Guided tour, tasting included, from 14 persons : 9€ per person (on appointement).

    On appointment, for groups from 14 to 56 pers. , you can have lunch in our room « Le Bagnolet » on the propriety.
